101 Things About Me

1. My name is Alexandra (Ally) and I live in "The City of Champions" in Alberta, Canada.


2. My birthday is July 8, 1980.


3. I'm a mom.


4. My hair is naturally dark brown, but currently is blonde, red, and black!


5. My eyes are dark green.


6. My heritage is very very very German.


7. My father is a carpenter by trade and my mother is a hairstylist.


8. I have a beautiful black domestic medium hair cat named Saoirse which is Irish for Freedom.


9. I used to have an awesome tabby named Tiger who only had 3 legs. I grew up with him as we got him when I was only 2 years old. He passed away when he was 15. I still miss him.


10. I lived in the same house my entire life until I was 23 years old.


11. My biggest obsessions are/were the Edmonton Oilers and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the series).


12. I collect celebrity autographs.


13. My favorite bands are Econoline Crush, Todd Kerns, Matthew Good, Linkin Park, and Hurst.


14. My favorite type of music however is Swing. The classics such as Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller.


15. I don't like to drink soda's or carbonated beverages, but I have a weakness for Root Beer or Cream Soda.


16. I'm right handed.


17. I love photography, sketching, and painting.


18. I'm also a poet. Some of my work has been published in 3 books and one audio cassette.


19. My favorite ice cream is Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough or Dairy Queen's Raspberry Cheesequake Blizzard.


20. I don't like pork.


21. I collect coins.


22. I also collect bottle caps.


23. I have every episode of Buffy, Angel and Due South on tape.


24. I'm learning how to play the guitar.


25. I don't have a religion and don't want one.


26. I don't believe in God the way that He is presented to us.


27. I don't have much respect for the Bible or for people who use it's words against others.


28. Sometimes I watch Days of Our Lives and Passions.


29. Dr.Phil is my idol.


30. My favorite shows are CSI, House, Grey's Anatomy, and Project Runway.


31. I want to get into scrapbooking.


32. I want to learn how to sew and make quilts.


33. I kick ass at crafts, especially painting.


34. I'm very good at photo editing.


35. Organization is one of my better skills.


36. I can read and understand German.


37. I have dual citizenship, German and Canadian.


38. I never get bored.


39. I'm very interested in Medieval times and Knights and Knighthood.


40. I'm in the process of learning about The Knights Templar and Freemasonry.


41. I am fascinated by the origins of every religion and more specifically the life of Jesus.


42. I'm a non smoker and firmly believe that if you are a smoker, you are a moron.


43. I'm currently reading Holy Blood, Holy Grail.


44. I like Scooby Doo.


45. My favorite flowers are white asiatic lilies.


46. I would love to visit Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Italy, Egypt and Israel (Jerusalem).
